Application and action
Support yeast growth with thiamine
Vitamin B1 (thiamine) supports yeast growth and activity. Together with diammonium phosphate, it may improve fermentation performance as well as the flavour and aroma of the finished drink.

Measure the dose
Measure 1 g of nutrient per 2.5–3 L of prepared batch. Do not exceed the recommended amount.
Dissolve in must
Dissolve the measured amount in approximately 100 mL of must.
Add before the yeast
Add the solution to the fermenter before pitching the yeast and mix thoroughly.
Practical note
Direct addition
If required, add directly to the batch, mix thoroughly and observe the recommended dosage.
Storage
Storage conditions
Store in a dry, cool place at no more than 20 °C, preferably refrigerated. Check the best-before date and batch number on the packaging. For oenological use only; not intended for direct consumption.
